Review of Saw VI (2009) by Mark B — 11 Jun 2011
Every single time I watch and every single time it gets worse and worse. The formula remains the same as every other post-saw-3 sequel, the deaths are tad more gruesome but are mainly just hilarious (see the opening scene where a woman chops off her own arm and milks the scene for all it's worth, which is understandable considering that she got the role by winning a game show).
A half-arsed commentary on the American health care system can't mask the bland intentions of a franchise delaying it's own demise by stretching out an already thin plotline to its extremes.
