Review of Saw VI (2009) by Skyler I — 08 Jul 2011
The traps are way cooler this time around, but Saw 6 is just as disapointing and shallow as Saw 5 was. It suffers from the exact same problem that every saw movie written by Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan suffers from: a bad story filled with major plot holes and laughably bad dialogue.
It's still thirilling in a visceral fashion and gory in all the right ways, but it's seriously lacking the great writing that made the first two films so great.
