Cast: Tobin Bell, Costas Mandylor, Scott Patterson, Betsy Russell, Julie Benz.

Director: David Hackl.

So last night I had the privilege of seeing the fifth installment of Saw, and let me tell you it definitely did not disappoint. It had me on the edge of my seat cringing at all the blood and thinking how the hell is he going to get out of that trap; and that's just the first 5 minutes. This movie will have you on the edge of your seats the minds of Lion's Gate and Twisted Pictures have another hit on there hands.

Costas Mandylor is great as Mark Hoffman, the man who has been helping Jigsaw (played by Tobin Bell) with everything from the beginning. We find out in this segment of Saw, Agent Peter Strahm (played by Scott Patterson) is trying to figure why Agent Perez (Athena Karkanis) said Hoffman's name when she was sprayed in Saw IV by the billy doll. Meanwhile we see another game taking place with 5 new characters: Charles, Mallick, Luba, Brit and Ashley (Carlo Rota, Greg Bryk, Meagan Good, Julie Benz and Laura Gordon), They're in a sewer, in a neck tie trap and Jigsaw explains that they are all leaders, not to think that way and do the opposite of their gut instincts. The game plays out through the movie with two members surviving (a side note first time ever two people survive a trap... or did they?). We also see Jigsaw's ex-wife receive a box that was left to her in his last will. He leaves a video saying that it's of "grave" importance! For all you Saw fans out there who didn't catch that, it wasn't "great" it was "grave" importance... hmmm..., we of course don't see what's in the box but we will see in Saw VI. That's right they left room for another sequel, and I am so excited because I can't wait to see what Hoffman does in this one. Oh yeah he survives and Agent Strahm... well you will have to see the movie and find out. Oh yes there will be BLOOD!!!

The Good.

I can honestly say I loved the whole movie from beginning to end. The acting was great the storyline awesome, the traps are so realistic and the ending was as surprising as all the others.

The Bad.

In my opinion only one thing; it wasn't longer. I just wanted more time, I wanted more traps. I loved how they went back in time and explained some of the old victims and traps awesome.

The Ugly.

Besides some Ugly people in the theater watching the movie with me there was definitely nothing ugly lol!

So in conclusion go watch this great sequel in the Saw series and enjoy, I'm giving this movie 5 stars.
