Review of Saw V (2008) by Ole J — 14 Dec 2010
This both shows a whole new story and shows cut-scenes between the-new-story-scenes that reveals the connection between Jigsaw, Hoffman and the early kills and contraptions.
The film doesn't bring that many new weird deathtraps, but still builds on and adds to the story and it's big entanglement.
It's not that scary anymore, it builds on, but has turned more into a thriller, with weird deathtraps, but still "just" a who-is-conning-who thriller.
Less and less seems to be rating and liking these films, I think they still have some great scenes and cool contraptions, but the story is wearing a bit thin.
