Review of Saw IV (2007) by Lilianetty L — 30 Oct 2010
Ok, I can give it a bit more of a star to this one, since the story-telling is getting better (since the 1st one gosh). But is just for now, since the games will continue (boring!).
Plot: Hoffman and two new FBI Agents are investigating the case of Kerry and the idiotic games made by John aka Jigsaw. In the end, not all seems what it looks, not even for Rigg. Some old faces will also be showned here, since as I can see, all films were almost filmed at the same time (weird really). Some stars for the story-telling (only this time).
Acting: I need to do some checks here first. Tobin as John/Jigsaw did really well here (only on the flashback scenes with the character Jill, acted by Betsy, who also did an amazing job). At last Tobin surprised me. But still, is not his best acting ever. Costas as Hoffman was impresive, but not surprising at all. Donnie as Eric did nothing really, It was ok. Athena as Perez was also ok. Stars here? Just a few.
Music: Same old, same old. I cannot give stars here this time. Nah kidding, just a half.
To end this review (the make up was nothing new this time), 3 stars of 5. Im sorry, but Im not a violence fan, nether a believer of that we call justice (he rocks, but is only sometimes). Again, why killing those who kill or do bad things, even if the evil thing is nonsence and we humans know is something we invented, to prove killing is wrong? Im a peaceful person as you may know, so enjoy my review and BLESS YOU ALL! HASTA LA PROXIMA!
