Review of Saw IV (2007) by Ross B — 08 Sep 2013
This is where the franchise started to take a turn for the worse. The ending is absolutely awful and could have been easily avoided if the lead character, Officer Rigg had actually paid attention to what Jigsaw was telling him.
There are a couple of redeeming features , one of which comes in the form of Agent Strahm who appears to be the only person in the movie who has a clue what he is doing. This fourth entry does, as do most of the future sequels, feel quite rushed.
Perhaps if it was longer, then there could have been some much clearer explanations and some more interesting plot turns.
