Review of Saw III (2006) by Ellen G — 16 Mar 2014
Surprisingly, the third time proves to be the charm for this series and Saw III actually brought back my interest in this (soon to be) tired franchise. What sold me on this film over the other two was that it felt more focused, and it had a collection of characters that I was surprisingly invested in throughout.
Angus MacFadyen does convincing work as Jeff and he adds a more human, realistic outlook on the series of obstacles that he has to endure. By the time the end came, I was left speechless and shocked as ever.
If anything, they should have just ended it all here because this was a surprisingly great film to watch.
