Review of Saw III (2006) by August M — 02 Apr 2015
A vast improvement over the second, Saw III decides to focus on it's characters this time around and makes a rather decent psychological horror film. The relationship between Jigsaw and Amanda is palpable and complex but you believe every bit of it.
The film really only goes downhill at the end, where instead of just one twist, there's a twist to the twist which I found redundant, a little implausible, and not nearly as satisfying as the twists from the previous two films.
