Review of Saw (2004) by Chuckie S — 14 Sep 2013

I wanted to give these movies another go around, but after re watching the first I remembered why I never was into this series. Sloppy acting and writing. The film is not scary. James Wan may have gotten better and turned out to be a more capable director but it sure doesn't show in this film.

Some interesting and clever deaths, but that's about it. Its kind of like the final destination/ friday the 13th movies; cool deaths but nothing else. Never got into the whole torture porn sub genre of horror.

And im a fan of gore and violence, however the content has to have substance, and this film/series has none. thank god this franchise is done and over with it.
