Review of Saw (2004) by Freddie K — 04 Jul 2015
For the start of a franchise built on torture porn, this one isn't so bad. I mean, of course there is a lot of blood and gore but it isn't so much as to make you look away in disappointment and shame, but enough to make you cringe with tension thanks to the build up to it.
In fact, the only major downside to this film was that the acting was not on point. It was just a little too cheesy to make it seem like a really tense horror movie, nevertheless, a really good horror flick .
