Saw was actually a pretty good movie. It wasn't a complete gore fest. It actually focuses on the characters and storyline more than the traps. I wouldn't say that this is a straight horror movie but it is disturbing.

I thought the acting in this movie was pretty good. Not the best but it was still ok. One thing I liked the most about this movie was the twist ending. It was pretty good even though it presents a huge plot hole.

Saw may have some plot holes but it's still a pretty good movie. B+.
