Review of Saw (2004) by Kevin K — 11 Aug 2017
Before I start, let me get one thing straight. THIS IS NOT A TORTURE PORN, OR GORE MOVIE. This is an excellently crafted psychological thriller/horror which is disturbing, has very few moments of intense gore and one of the greatest horror movie plots of all time.
I really can't see what critics see that makes Saw a bad movie. I really don't! It proves that you can even create so much terror from staying in one room, and it really plays with your mind. If you we a big fan of se7en, believe me, you will love this, possibly even more so, as I did.
Absolutely fantastic horror, with an extremely shocking twist. WELL DONE JAMES WAN!!
