It's a damn shame what this franchise turned into. This is the ONLY time I can recall being a theater with my jaw buried in my collar bone. The ending... oh god the glorious twist ending. It's a shame you only get to feel that once.
With true, crazy appeal, Wan keeps you guessing with this thriller. Less about the gore (which can't be said for the rest of the story-less installments) "Saw" unravelled a compelling story with a great cast and intense environment.
Classic.
