A great horror mystery movie that really cuts deep because of its graphic depictions of torture devices. But the thing that separates this with all other similar kinds of movies, is that its sole purpose is not to shock for the sake of it.

James Wan and Leigh Whannell crafted something great here with the right amount of suspense, thrills and horror. The twist at the end is exceptionally well thought of and still holds up after years. Jigsaw and his puppet are a worthy addition to horror icons like freddy and michael.
