A somewhat intriguing premise is put to waste as it is used solely as a vehicle (or more appropriately, an excuse) for a seemingly endless barrage of twisted, gruesome and appalling violence that really has no rhyme or reason to it other than finding one new way after another for how to chop a human being into pieces.
