Review of Saw (2003) by Dustin I — 01 Aug 2013

I just revisited Saw and have not seen it since its original release. At first I was not a big fan but after re-watching, I have come to gain respect and found a very-well layered film amid all the bloody carnage.

I have a growing appetite for each new James Wan film and, looking back, you can see how he as grown into a wonderful director with lots of craft, care and precision. It's just a shame the rest of the Saw Franchise did not understand his initial intentions.
