Review of Saving Silverman (2001) by Tim C — 30 May 2008
A disappointment from top to bottom. A likable cast (including Jason Biggs, Jack Black, and Amanda Peet) create some interesting and engaging characters, however the story fails to gel on so many levels.
While the movie does has its funny moments, it's just not funny enough. A rousing finale (including a hilarious cameo by Neil Diamond) does end the movie on a high note, however it's not really enough to save it.
Barely worth a rental.
