Originally seeing a few parts, I eventually saw the entire film recently. Winner of 5 Oscars (Steven Spielberg earning his second Oscar for Best Director & he deserved it!), "Saving Private Ryan" shows lots of intensity & drama: acting, scenery, plot-line, & battles. Nominated for 6 other Oscars including Best Actor for Tom Hanks and Best Picture (didn't win any), "Saving Private Ryan" is still one of the greatest films of the 20th Century & the 1990s!
R.I.P. to the American soldiers who died during WWII.
