Review of Saving Private Ryan (1998) by Robby G — 26 May 2013
Great Movie, anytime you get Stephen Spielberg directing a film you know that there will be a lot of action and special effects, and this sometimes overshadows the plot in his movies, but this WWII Epic has a deep story with great characters and a great cast.
And the action is flawless, with long battles riddled into a 3 hour masterpiece from the very beginning, to the end. And for a movie made in 1997, it was way ahead of it's time as far as special effects goes.
Definitely a great movie from start to finish.
