Review of Saving Private Ryan (1998) by Matthew F. J — 27 Sep 2013

This is a great film, very meticulous in it's portrayal & reconstitution of WW2 beach landing in Normandy. The cast is great, the film well paced, the content clearly aiming for a general audience doesn't take away the horror depicted & the roughness of life for the soldiers back then.

One of these magical films able to entertain you, enlighten you on some historical facts & manages to pull some tears towards the end.... in few words... a classic.
