Review of Saving Private Ryan (1998) by Tyler S — 03 Dec 2013
Its the movies that affect you that are the classics. This is the type of movie you remember where you were when you saw it. Maybe the best actor and best director of the last 30 years join team for one of the most realistic war movies ever made.
The opening scene is tough to watch and will leave you on the edge of your seat. The movies pacing is a little off starts fast then slows way down little fast slows way down again, but thats ok because the story makes up for it.
Shot brilliantly and acted beautifully this might be Hanks best.
