Review of Saving Private Ryan (1998) by Jeffrow R — 09 Dec 2015
Easily one of the greatest films of all time, and definitely one of Spielberg's finest. All everybody talks about is the beginning Omaha Beach scene, and while that is great, the rest of the film is still incredible.
The realism shown is truly disturbing, while the battle are still surprisingly fun to watch. I cannot imagine what Spielberg had to go through to get this movie made, but whatever it was, it resulted in one of the best films ever made.
