Spielberg, not just made a war film, but an epic. Saving Private Ryan is an innovator, of all war epics, novels, and video games which gives this one an inspiration to all. The camera angles, cinematography and the characterization is done superbly breathtaking.
Spielberg wants us to feel how WWII ambiance will be and this is the only film I was dazzled and amazed. Amazing story, as capt. John Miller with his troops are in a journey with the help of the tremendous performance by Tom Hanks.
The best war film ever made. It's ridiculously beyond a war film but its an epic that we will never forget.
