Difficult to watch (especially that opening scene), but worth it. Spielberg unveils humans on all sides of conflict without glorifying the violence involved. Instead, the film reveals enough to be horrifying and heartbreaking without being reproachful.
The casting and the character portrayals in this film was very well-executed.
