My favorite War/WWII movie and one of Steven Spielberg's best movies of his career! Saving Private Ryan really shows how rough war is and what it does to the soldiers who fight in it. This movie gives another spectacular performance by Tom Hanks and is one of his best.
Spielberg makes it extremely realistic and virtually defines the genre of war films. The story is phenomenal and really reflects a lot of how Steven Spielberg is one of the best directors we know!
