A great movie. Everything about this film works - except for one minor scene, with his wife at the cemetery. It is a war story,of course, but also a quest saga, a detective story, an intimate film about teams and leaders, camaraderie, fate, destiny, luck.
A deep humanity and realism drives the story and the film. Great stuff.
