Personally I believe that Saving Private Ryan is one of the best movies ever produced. There aren't a lot of things I found to complain about. There are several different things that made it a classic in the world of production.
The acting staff was incredible, when you have people such as Tom Hanks, Vin Diesel, Matt Damon, and Edward Burns; you know you are going to produce a high quality movie. Especially when you have one of the best directors of all time in Steven Spielberg.
Also, this movie has one of the best storylines of all time, it keeps you interested throughout the whole movie. There is no point while watching the movie when you get bored or want to check your cell phone.
Finally, the camera angles and composition is consistently incredible throughout the whole movie. It's one of the only movies I've ever watched where the last thing I wanted to do was look away from the screen.
