With an incredible and unbelievable true story, a great script full of beautiful dialogue written by Kelly Marcel and Sue Smith, an amazing cast filled with strong performances headed by Tom Hanks as Walt Disney and Emma Thompson as P.
L. Travers, perfect directing by John Lee Hancock, exciting scenes and sequences and a brilliant but sometimes slow pace and flow, Saving Mr. Banks takes you behind the scenes of how Mary Poppins almost never happened but makes you feel sorry that P.
L. Travers' early childhood was not the way you imagined and also makes you understand why she didn't want her famous book series to be turned into a film by none other than Walt Disney.
