Review of Saving Mr. Banks (2013) by Nicholas L — 12 Jul 2014
It is obvious that the situations and characters are sweetens and embellish for the audience. This is a Disney's production on a Disney's famous movie in the 60s. Nevertheless, the result is a pleasant movie experience with perfect pace.
It felt like two movies merged into one. P.L. Travers' childhood and her visit to America. Kudos to Emma Thompson's multi layers performance. There is not another actress who can do that role except her.
Colin Ferrell also give a surprisingly nuance performance.
