Review of Saving Mr. Banks (2013) by David C — 02 Aug 2014
OK so there is clearly a bit of Disney revisionism going on here to protect the Disney brand and Uncle Walt's homespun image, but it makes for a good film with great performances by Hanks, as usual, and especially by Emma Thompson, whose more austere character helps the whole sugary confection go down.
Now who is going to give us the REAL story?
