Review of Saving Mr. Banks (2013) by Hillary D — 17 Aug 2014
Not being a devoted Mary Poppins fan in the least, I came away appreciating this movie more for its own unique story. Hanks is as always secure in his ability and Emma Thompson excelled at being unlikable, but the evolution of her character through the storytelling was enthralling, especially when you compound the feat with her Poppins characters.
