Many people really seemed to like this movie. I was not that big a fan of it. All the acting in the movie I thought was top knotch, but I did not like how the screenplay tried to make me feel sympathy for character that I did not really like, mainly Ms.
Travers drunken father. I believe another reason why I did not enjoy this film is that I loved Marry Poppins the movie as a child and so had hoped a movie about its creation would have been a happier affair.
