Review of Saving Mr. Banks (2013) by Liv H — 30 Oct 2014
Saving Mr Banks was inspirational with a lot of themes to learn from. It shows that it's okay to let something good happen and take a leap of faith, and sometimes even something good comes out of it. Another theme is to let go of the past and live the present. Saving Mr Banks had the perfect.
Combination of laughter and smiles, to emotional scenes. The only part I didn't like of this film was the backstories, no matter how true they were, they were over done in dramatically and emotionally. I do like what they bring to the story, they were just over emotionally and not very relatable. I gave this movie 4/5 stars because the acting was amazing, there was almost a perfect balance between feel good scenes and emotional scenes. Although the backstories were over done as far as emotionally and dramatically, the film makes up for it with the main storyline.
