I don't normally go for sentimental films that tug at the heartstrings. Indeed, I am often bored by them. But this is something else. I could never hope to do this film justice just by talking about it. I smiled, I laughed, I rolled my eyes, and I cried.
Mary Poppins has always held a special place in my heart. Now, Saving Mr Banks has a place right next to it.
