Review of Saving Mr. Banks (2013) by Oz S — 27 Mar 2015
A warm, enjoyable, but glossy movie that is largely successful in presenting a pretty balanced take on the Walt Disney/P.L. Travers story, even if it does tend to dip into the Disney sentimentality stakes a bit too much.
However, it is lifted beyond this by some excellent central performances, and just my pure affection for the Mary Poppins movie that it depicts the making of.
