Review of Saving Mr. Banks (2013) by Charles G — 27 Jun 2015
A letdown in the sense that it wasn't as good as I'd hoped it would turn out to be, but it was still a decent film. The flashbacks to Australia give the film a darker edge than one would associate with Disney films, but it is welcome.
The softening of Emma Thompson's character is done gradually and well. Not Hanks' best role, but you still pay to see him.
