Review of Saving Face (2004) by Carmen T — 01 Dec 2007
I was pleasantly surprised, really. This movie did contain some clichés but they were covered up well. The actors are convincing and the main theme of the movie a contemporary one. I did not mind the switching between Chinese and English, that was an interesting and different way of keeping the viewer focused.
It also helped to get a deeper insight into the main characters' situation and left a taste of authenticity.
