Review of Saved (2009) by Michael P — 09 Sep 2008
I was very skeptical of this film, seeing as how it was portrayed in the trailers. And while it definitely begins with a lot of slanted jokes toward Christianity, it took a more serious approach to the faults that many Christians (especially youth) have when it comes to loving others.
While some jokes were tough to swallow, they affected me so because of the reality I saw in them. We are called to love others, not be spiritually superior and arrogant. And this message is communicated in the film's story - self-righteous Christians should think well while watching this film.
