Review of Saved (2009) by John A — 07 Jan 2009
Not as funny or intelligent as it thinks it is--apparently the only two options are being a judgmental hypocrite or deciding to cast off all authority and make religion in our own image. Neither of these is that difficult to portray, and I would have been much more interested in a portrayal of some kind of middle option between these two.
That said, it did have its moments--especially liked Fugit's character and pastor Skip.
