It starts off promising but slowly slips into teen comedy cliches. some startling similarities can be drawn to another teen pregnancy movie, 'Juno,' most notably with their referral to a fetus as a sea monkey.
apparently in an early draft of 'juno,' it took place in a christian school, too.... the originality of that story seems ever so diluted by 'saved!' - but I still thought juno was better done.
