Only 51% of critics like this? Ridiculous. Savages is another in a string of Oliver Stone films where the director has finally found the perfect balance between story and bombastic storytelling, and apart from a few lines and a questionable ending, the whole thing works exceptionally well.
The movie tells an exciting story with exciting performances in an exciting way. What more can I reasonably ask of a movie?
