Review of Savages (2012) by Tim C — 21 Oct 2013
The definition of 'all over the place' I like Oliver Stone and think he's one of the greatest film makers and that's the mindset I had going in to this but this movie was just, well, like I said, all over the place.
Some parts would have tension and have me on the edge of my seat and other moments I really couldn't care less about what was going on. I liked its visual style and I think it was well acted but I would have liked to have seen more John Travolta, the best actor in the film and he's hardly used.
