Review of Savages (2012) by Patrick K — 05 Apr 2014

I found this personally to be a brilliant and underrated movie. This had a decent cast who performed very well and the storyline flowed really well. It follows 2 friends and their girlfriend who grow their own marijuana for great profits until a cartel decides to try and buy off the competition leading to a turf war with blood spilt, kidnappings and stolen money.

Oliver Stone has come under some unnecessary critism over the last 10 or so years but this film proves he can tell a compelling story.
