Review of Savages (2006) by Mike S — 06 Feb 2013
This is an interesting film. It's intense for one thing, incredibly depressing for another but it has this brilliant use of humour spotted throughout. Linney and Hoffman are wonderful and their character's relationship is believable, sad and honest.
This won't be a film for everyone and even though the plot is somewhat sombre it struck a nerve with me.
