Review of Savage Streets (1984) by Alec N — 27 Sep 2008

When did Linda Blair get dem huge ass titties??? Seriously though, Savage Streets is one of THE best revenge thrillers/Death Wish knock-offs I've seen. A gang of tough girls led by the busty Linda Blair are put to the test as Blair's younger (and deaf) sister (Linnea Quigley in her most prudish role ever) is brutally raped at school, and other member of the group is viciously murdered by a disturbing gang of thugs who roam the streets causing all sorts of trouble.

This is how I wish the semi-awesome Kevin Bacon thriller Death Sentence could have been, because, seriously, this film was awesome. Aside from the violence and bloodshed, there are MASS amounts of titties and bush running rampart in this film, with 80% of it being completely unnecessary, but I certainly wasn't complaining.

Linda Blair has a brief nude scene that I quite enjoyed, along with the rest of the rampart titties, which are including mostly in locker room shower scenes, locker room shower fight scenes, and classroom fight scenes, all of which are very hilarious.

Let's not forget the 80's cheese that is spread ALL throughout this film, not to mention Dean Wormer of Animal House stretching his acting abilities to play Principal Underwood, a no-nonsense tight wad who is not in touch with the youth and just wants to suspend them all! Great film.
