Review of Sausage Party (2016) by Marvelmaz — 17 Aug 2016
Critics give it too much credit, however it's not a "bad" movie. It has many ways it can be interpreted, a criticism or religion, a criticism of bashful atheism or a movie that goes for simple shock value. At any rate what we interpret from this movie isn't part of my review as in all honesty the ideas presented in this movie are nothing original and are things that you have heard of before countless times.
To me this movie appears to be the literal real life version of South Park's Scrotie McBoogerballs. It is nasty, vile, vulgar and offensive. This movie is basically a stinky crap and critics are confusing it with gold. It's not that bad though as there is a lot of immature fun to be had. Which I would assume that was exactly what the people behind the movie were going for. Proper adults will hate this movie, younger individuals appear to like it. Which makes me think that is why they were actually targeting the younger demographic in order to implant their social commentary. It's an easy way of trying to persuade the younger people to think like they do.
Anyways, back to the point, no being filthy does not make the movie an 8/10 guys, it's still a very very **** movie, but it is not the worst.
