Review of Sausage Party (2016) by Tim W — 27 Nov 2017
I had been wanting to see this movie since I was fourteen. I managed to order it on DVD with my parents' permission, and I finally watched it.
It is a good movie, with a good story, and good characters. It is funny in places, although the swearing does get in the way of the humour.
There are good jokes about food: 'How do you like them APPLES?', 'Spill the BEANS!', and 'Okay, so---did someone say QUESO?' and 'You MUSTARD the strength to KETCHUP to me!' As you might know, these jokes are all said by the villain.
As a mature English teenager, I wouldn't count films with swearing, sex and drugs a comedy. It gets a little too much, and at some point, you might feel like you have had enough. But that doesn't stop me from making this movie one of my favourites in my collection.
