Review of Sausage Party (2016) by Jack N — 18 Feb 2017

Well well well, Sausage Party... Now that I'm unfortunately generally considered an adult, there is relatively little in movies that I feel like I shouldn't be watching. The majority of Sausage Party however made me feel like I was watching something that I really shouldn't, an instead be seeking an adult's opinion on.

It is unbelievable, and I'm personally not sure in a good way. It is unlike anything you will have seen before, with the gags gradually becoming more grotesque as the film progresses. There are moments that are funny, although you feel somewhat wrong laughing at them.

This accumulates in an unforgettable, jaw dropping finale, that almost definitely shouldn't be allowed! Arguably a very clever adult animation that certainly breaks boundaries, although not one that is for everyone.
