Review of Saturday Night Live: The Best of Eddie Murphy (1998) by Nicole G — 12 Feb 2007
Oh yeah! It doesn't get any funnier than this! Eddie Murphy's early days at Saturday Night Live before he became the successful international comedian we all know him for today. All the skits in this collection are golden.
From the Little Richard Simmons, to the hysterical Buckwheat assassination, Murphy had it all as he still does today, just sometimes the premise of his movies don't always clash too well with his outrageous humour.
Murphy rejuvanated the dying SNL at the time and single-handedly brought it back, and this collection gives you a taste of how just how talented a comedian he is.
