Review of Sarfarosh (1999) by Sunay S — 08 Jun 2007
I have no idea where director john matthew mathan disappeared to. but I hope he makes another film someday. one of the few pre 21st century films to be bold enough to make radical statements about the communal differences in the country.
it has a great portrayal of mumbai crime ladder connecting small dealers to politicians. all actors deliver solid performances. dialogue is well written and the climax the indeed very sarfarosh.
